AMENDMENT NO 1 TO THE SAILING INSTRUCTIONS
Delete 8.5 and substitute the following wording:-
“8.5. Courses with all laid marks are illustrated in the Course Diagram Appendix. These courses will be signalled by the single code flag A or B.”

International 5 Metre/Other First WS 1040
Race 4 will start ASAP after Race 3 completes

NOTES FOR CLARIFICATION
• The Sail Past is cancelled
• Details of the RYS Start Line will be found in SI 11.4
• Details of how the courses will be displayed are set out in SIs 8.1, 8.2, and 8.3
• A list of symbols will be found in the Appendix headed “Course Marks and Symbols”
• The course for each class will be announced on Channel 77 before its warning signal and repeated immediately after it
