Amendments to the Sailing Instructions

Amendment No 1 to SIs

18th August 2007


SI 11.3 (first sentence) is amended to read:

'An inner distance mark may be laid on the start line side of the Principal Race Committee Vessel.'

Appendix 1:

In all cases the spreader mark (S), when used, will be a yellow pillar buoy.

Amendment No 2 to SIs

20th August 2007


SI 11.2 is amended to read:

“The Starting Line will be between a staff bearing an orange flag on the Committee Boat and the Outer Distance Mark which will be a black buoy.”

Appendix 1 (course diagram)

Courses A and B may be amended to remove marks G1 and G2. In this case the main Committee Boat will show course D.

Course CR may be amended to remove G2 and L for the Classic Class and G3 and L for the Modern Class in the final lap (ie the last two marks for the Classic Class will be W4 and Gurnard and for the Modern Class W6 and Gurnard). In this case the main Committee Boat will show course E.

Amendment No 4 to SIs

23rd August 2007


SI 5.1 Schedule of Races is amended to read:

Friday 24th August HW21070800Briefing at Gurnard
 10001 race for the Weymouth Town Trophy. As soon as possible after completion, 1 race for the Island Commemorative Trophy and as soon as possible after completion of this race, 1 race for the Llandudno Trophy.
  Courses will be windward/leeward as indicated in Amendment to the SIs No 3 (courses F & G)
