Day Two of the Royal Yacht Squadron Bicentenary Members’ Regatta

Day two saw a brisk North Easterly breeze all fleets are sailing in the Eastern Solent.

The starting sequence went to schedule and Black Group yachts powered off the start line into the Eastern Solent in a building breeze.

The course is set for approximately 3-4 hours sailing with windward leeward legs.

The White Group headed for the shelter of the Bramble Bank to try and avoid the worst of the flood tide. The multi-legged course will be challenging for navigators and crew work.
