I am delighted to confirm that the new AC38  protocol was signed by the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron as Defender and Royal Yacht Squadron Ltd as the Challenger of Record in Auckland last night.  The protocol introduces a ground breaking partnership that establishes equal authority between all participating teams.  
 
A great result for Royal Yacht Squadron and for the sport, and our thanks to Bertie Bicket for all his hard work in bringing this negotiation to a successful conclusion.
